Reviews For Moving In
Seriously Reviewed said "You know? Every so often you read a story that starts a little slow on the first few pages and then.....BAM it just explodes! This was one of them for me."
Kaye's Book Review Page
on which she said The book is "short, sweet, light-hearted and just plain fun."
Vince at Philosophy of Romance said "Alice Audrey’s voice is fresh, feisty, full of surprises and always fun. The author also deals with real people having real problems and she does it in a very insightful way."
Nessa at Chrysalis Stage said "If you like sweet, fast-paced romance with a hot hero and all of the misunderstandings that two people can throw at each other, then you will love this story."
Night Owl Reviews didn't have anything nice to say about it. Hey, you can't win them all.
Brenda Talley of Romance Studio said " I recommend this book to anyone. It was a pleasure to read and I shall look for more of her work in the future. "
By Guta Bauer at Murphy's Library did it twice! Once in English and once in Portuguese. I'm assuming they both say, "Life goes on, choices need to be made and we can never let our past deny us of our future. That’s just some of the things we learn from this story. "
If you did a review of my book, let me know! I'll be glad to link to you, even if you didn't like the book.

“Huh. Well, look at that. It’s my suitcase.” Drew stared at the black bag sitting in the middle of the floor. Sitting in the middle of the first floor of what had once been a grand department store with sunlight streaming through the broken out front doors as if to spotlight it, his FBI-suitable case had a sadly forlorn look to it. “Was it there before?”

Leaping leap year! Notice the date? Like it’ll land this way again for The Serialist hub any time soon.
Anyway, A big thank you to all our regular serialists. I’ve enjoyed a lot of great reading in the last ten months. Like the lives of Ahu and Ahuahu. Keep them coming. You know I love it.
This is the hub for The Serialists, a meme for people who post original, serialized fiction on their blogs. If you have one or more posts you would like for us to read, please put a direct link to the post(s) in the linky.
If you are not an author and would only like to read, then please leave a comment. I may feature you next week.

Vince popped a couple of pills and washed them down with a locally bottled orange cream soda. Nice town, he thought again, as he walked down the pedestrian plaza. Nice place to settle – except for the serial killer.

A quick tour of how it works.
This one’s for all you lurkers out there. Lord knows I have a ton of them. Below is a copy of my comment form. Isn’t it pretty? Looks pretty basic, doesn’t it? Honestly, there is nothing to be afraid of here.

Ben slashed violently, but the monster would not die. Every member of his party fell at least once, and if not for hasty medical attention would have died. It took hours, but at last they had their foe down to his last breath, but before Ben could execute the final blow, his mother unplugged the game.

Everything here stretched and contracted like elastic. Drew knew for sure the grimy bakery window wasn’t really a rippling stream and the grit riding on top of the cracked sidewalk wasn’t really quicksand. He wasn’t sinking into the ground. He wasn’t.
As to the two men speaking Spanish, he suspected they were real, but until this episode passed, he couldn’t be sure.

Welcome A. M. Harte and Tim Holtorf! For those who haven’t made it over to their blogs yet, they both write Science Fiction. Tim’s link was a bit iffy early in the week, but I fixed it, so if you went to his site and couldn’t find the series, try again from last week’s links.

Jack: No lead in this one either? What am I going to write it with?

Jill: Can’t find anything good to write with? I think I’ve got a calligraphy pen somewhere if you’d like to borrow it.
Jack: That isn’t the point.

It comes up fast
like April 15th
unexpected in a predictable way.
Surely the road must end
with such an overwhelming obstacle,
the weight of everything left undone,
receipts lost, memories misplaced,
deadline so squarely looming ahead.
The desperate scramble, the last minute
swerve
and all becomes right with the world
save a lingering heart palpitation or two.
