Relative Values

“You have got to be kidding me. A million bucks for this? The place is a wreck! Daddy, why on earth do you want me to buy it?” Anita glowered at the ivy covered walls.

She already had a villa in New Hampshire and a chateau in France. This was supposed to be an artist’s retreat for her and her boyfriend.

“I thought you might get a place we both could enjoy.”

“You like this?” Anita quirked an eyebrow.

“Sure.” Her father took a tee and golf ball out of his pocket and placed them in the yard. Swinging an imaginary club, he shouted, “Fore!!!”
