I’m in one of those slumps. After spending most of a month on Heart of the Dragon by Gena Showalter, I’ve thrown in the towel. I’m close to the end, but haven’t enough interest to actually finish it. Heart of the Wolf by Terry Spear turned out to simply not be my thing, and I’m even a little flinchy about Rescue Me by Christy Reece. I may very well skip over it for the Rita Mae Brown that’s waiting for me.
I’m not sure if I’m being too picky again. That happens to me now and then. I get entirely too critical.
