Seriously Reviewed said "You know? Every so often you read a story that starts a little slow on the first few pages and then.....BAM it just explodes! This was one of them for me."

on which she said The book is "short, sweet, light-hearted and just plain fun."
Vince at Philosophy of Romance said "Alice Audrey’s voice is fresh, feisty, full of surprises and always fun. The author also deals with real people having real problems and she does it in a very insightful way."
Nessa at Chrysalis Stage said "If you like sweet, fast-paced romance with a hot hero and all of the misunderstandings that two people can throw at each other, then you will love this story."
Night Owl Reviews didn't have anything nice to say about it. Hey, you can't win them all.

By Guta Bauer at Murphy's Library did it twice! Once in English and once in Portuguese. I'm assuming they both say, "Life goes on, choices need to be made and we can never let our past deny us of our future. That’s just some of the things we learn from this story. "

What a Load
Have you ever had to pass something like this on the road? We ended up passing it three times before we were done. It may not have a “wide load” sign, but that truck took up more than his fair share of the road. What’s on the back? Tires. Since he was headed for Butte, I’m guessing they are tires for one of those strip mining tractor things. We’re talking about a vehicle the size of a small house.

It happens all the time and I’ve just learned to go with the flow. It’s from driving the bus for so many years. You pass one of these bicyclers and then they go around you at a stop and you have to do it all over again. Same thing with a wide load. But here most of the time they have a police escort if they are that wide.
The worst part of it is when they (like this guy did) could pull to the right shoulder when they see you in the mirror trying to pass and won’t.
This one sounds quite tempting…
Here’s mine:

We passed this guy three times before we were done. Offramps. Looking for food.
That is a great conversation piece!
I had a nightmare once, that one of those heavy duty yellow Caterpillar tractors ran over my head with wheels such as those ones. It brought it all back in your photo. Thanks for re-traumatizing me.
I am so sorry. Especially since those yellow caterpillar tractors are small fry compared to what the mining operations use.
Ouch. I wouldn’t be happy if I had to pass that.
My sons used to have a heavy construction equipment video. There were things like 100 ton dump trucks that had tires like this. Crazy.
Normally you meet something like this on a narrow country road when you can’t pass. Most frustrating.
At least when you encounter a double wide trailer or a house being moved, they have those “wide load” vehicles in front and behind. Can still be frustrating on narrow roads, though.
