Reviews For Moving In
Seriously Reviewed said "You know? Every so often you read a story that starts a little slow on the first few pages and then.....BAM it just explodes! This was one of them for me."
Kaye's Book Review Page
on which she said The book is "short, sweet, light-hearted and just plain fun."
Vince at Philosophy of Romance said "Alice Audrey’s voice is fresh, feisty, full of surprises and always fun. The author also deals with real people having real problems and she does it in a very insightful way."
Nessa at Chrysalis Stage said "If you like sweet, fast-paced romance with a hot hero and all of the misunderstandings that two people can throw at each other, then you will love this story."
Night Owl Reviews didn't have anything nice to say about it. Hey, you can't win them all.
Brenda Talley of Romance Studio said " I recommend this book to anyone. It was a pleasure to read and I shall look for more of her work in the future. "
By Guta Bauer at Murphy's Library did it twice! Once in English and once in Portuguese. I'm assuming they both say, "Life goes on, choices need to be made and we can never let our past deny us of our future. That’s just some of the things we learn from this story. "
If you did a review of my book, let me know! I'll be glad to link to you, even if you didn't like the book.

55 – Plans
“Wow, look at that. All that rock.” Boss man shook his head with a grin of admiration.
“Yeah. Nice view,” employee said, looking at the mountains. Not that they needed anything pretty for what they had in mind. It’s not like the factory would have any windows.
“Yep. Just about perfect.” Boss man stooped to scoop up some pebbles.
Oh. He hadn’t looked up this whole time.

The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to write a story in exactly 55 words. Flash Fiction 55 is hosted by the G-man, a host with the most.

Putting a factory there would be such a waste of that beautiful view.
Look again. The factory is already there.
well you can guarantee that view wont be around long…ugh…
A great view from the warehouse!!!
Nice 55 Alice
Happy Weekend
Alice Audrey…
Ya take Paradise, and put up a Parking Lot!
I know factory…
Loved your 55, it shows the coldness of man.
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
That IS a lovely view.
Sometimes people do have a tendency to ignore the beauty that’s right in front of them, don’t they?
Thanks for another Friday 55!
Mine’s here.
I love the juxtaposition of the one person looking at the ground, admiring the rocks, while the other admires the rocks of the distant mountains.
This reminds me of an incident in my tech support days. My boss and I had been out on a call, each in our own vehicle. We drove back to the office under a sky of amazing, stunning clouds of a style I’d never seen before. When we arrived back at the office I said, “Weren’t those clouds amazing?”
His response was, “Clouds?”
We had driven the same route at the same time and he hadn’t even noticed the sky!
A lesson in differing perspectives. We take so much beauty for granted, I guess.
The industrialist and the aesthete exist on different planets.
Everyone wants a stone counter top or tile or back splash or whatever and it has to come from somewhere so you don’t need a view of something you are going to saw, chisel and cut apart anyway.
Youch! You nailed the reality of commercial building on this one. Awesome.
Like a scar on the landscape… On the other hand, we could use a few more working factories in the US.
I see that so often and it makes me feel sad for those who, in my mind, are trapped. Awesome 55, Alice Audrey!
awesome one.
bless your weekend.
Trapped for sure, between a rock and….
Nice one.
We all have our own perceptions. We see only what we want to see…
