Reviews For Moving In
Seriously Reviewed said "You know? Every so often you read a story that starts a little slow on the first few pages and then.....BAM it just explodes! This was one of them for me."
Kaye's Book Review Page
on which she said The book is "short, sweet, light-hearted and just plain fun."
Vince at Philosophy of Romance said "Alice Audrey’s voice is fresh, feisty, full of surprises and always fun. The author also deals with real people having real problems and she does it in a very insightful way."
Nessa at Chrysalis Stage said "If you like sweet, fast-paced romance with a hot hero and all of the misunderstandings that two people can throw at each other, then you will love this story."
Night Owl Reviews didn't have anything nice to say about it. Hey, you can't win them all.
Brenda Talley of Romance Studio said " I recommend this book to anyone. It was a pleasure to read and I shall look for more of her work in the future. "
By Guta Bauer at Murphy's Library did it twice! Once in English and once in Portuguese. I'm assuming they both say, "Life goes on, choices need to be made and we can never let our past deny us of our future. That’s just some of the things we learn from this story. "
If you did a review of my book, let me know! I'll be glad to link to you, even if you didn't like the book.

13 Musical Instruments in My House
Drums
1. Conga
2. Ashiko
3. Dumbek

4. Frame Drum
5. Taktak
Other percussion
6. Shekare
7. Gong
8. Maracas
Stringed Instruments
9. Piano
10. Kemchi
11. Psaltery
12. Uru
13. Bull Roar

I’m counting the bull roar as a string instrument because it won’t work without the string, but rather than being plucked or rubbed with a bow, to make it sound, you swing it around in a big circle. Not an indoor instrument.
BTW, I’m still working on the Gargoyle thing. I’m not sure Mr. Al actually has 13. I know some are still in storage. Could be a while before we unearth them all. In the meanwhile, if you’d like to see one, click here.

That’s twelve more than are in my house – and a completely different thirteen than I have as well.
I’m not sure what some of these do or sound like!
Those are SO COOL!!!!!! Love this.
Now you have the fixin’s but do you have the will for a houseful of cacophonous riot and good times?
Very cool!

Wow! Unless I can scrounge up a few cheap plastic party favor whistles, I don’t think I can come up with thirteen musical instruments in my house!
Hey…this is a fun blog event. I will take part one day
Can you ply all of those instruments Alice?
Most of them, though none really well. Except maybe the gong. I can get some sounds out of the gong that would amaze you. The psaltery is probably the worst. Can’t seem to get the notes I want when I want them. The uru is a special case, as it’s very delicate and irreplaceable. I bought it twenty five years ago in China.
You learn to play them by yourself?
It’s amazing that you can play them all. I am terrible with music instrument
Most I learned myself, including the piano. Drums I’ve taken a few lessons for. This is a lot more than what most of the people I play with have done. I’ve been shown how to play guitar a couple of times, but find it so hard for my stubby fingers to reach that I haven’t done much with it. The only instrument I really studied was the violin. Now I’m finding the set of strings I need cost more than the violin did originally.
I have the same problem as you when playing guitar. I quit after few days of learning because I couldn’t feel my fingers afterward.
Wow…I didn’t know Violin’s string cost that much. I think violin is a very elegant instrument.
I heard #12 played in a Renascence fair and it sounded amazing.
Janice~
No, excuse me that was #11 that I heard played.
Happy TT.
Janice~
Yep. That’s the psaltery.
I was interested in what the bull roar would sound like, so I looked them up on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_Djgs7sM9k
Here’s a video of them. Very cool.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! I love how they are visual art, as well as bring music.
Did I mention GORGEOUS??!! Looks beautiful. And I like that leather chair!
xoxo
Wow, those are very cool. Lots of instruments here, but mostly of the guitar variety!
You’re mostly guitar and I’m mostly drum. We should jam.
