Reviews For Moving In
Seriously Reviewed said "You know? Every so often you read a story that starts a little slow on the first few pages and then.....BAM it just explodes! This was one of them for me."
Kaye's Book Review Page
on which she said The book is "short, sweet, light-hearted and just plain fun."
Vince at Philosophy of Romance said "Alice Audrey’s voice is fresh, feisty, full of surprises and always fun. The author also deals with real people having real problems and she does it in a very insightful way."
Nessa at Chrysalis Stage said "If you like sweet, fast-paced romance with a hot hero and all of the misunderstandings that two people can throw at each other, then you will love this story."
Night Owl Reviews didn't have anything nice to say about it. Hey, you can't win them all.
Brenda Talley of Romance Studio said " I recommend this book to anyone. It was a pleasure to read and I shall look for more of her work in the future. "
By Guta Bauer at Murphy's Library did it twice! Once in English and once in Portuguese. I'm assuming they both say, "Life goes on, choices need to be made and we can never let our past deny us of our future. That’s just some of the things we learn from this story. "

55 – The Next Turn
It’s always the bend in the road that keeps him driving. On the long straight-aways, he can see that there is nothing waiting for him; no new discovery, no returning friend, no unexpected bakeries. But curves hide many things. They are full of tempting potential.

The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to write a story in exactly 55 words. Flash Fiction 55 is hosted by the G-man, a host with the most.

He’s driving on the wrong side of the road! With a big load coming. And a hill, let alone a curve! Love the road.
It’s a four lane highway. You just can’t see the other two lanes on the left because they are down hill.
plus those long straightaways put me to sleep….curves keep me awake…
I drove 632 miles today, I know the feeling!
Loved your On The Road Again 55
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
That’s a cool way to look at it.
The last line is so very very true. It’s hard to resist seeing what lies beyond the next curve. Loved it, Alice Audrey!
That is true Alice! It gets boring and of more concern, sleepy when the road is straight. There has to be enjoyment thrown in (doesn’t imply speeding, though!)
Hank
I like this one. The dips and curves definitely make the journey more interesting.
So much to like! Unexpected bakeries, tempting potential, bunny on the dashboard (or is that a jackalope?)…yes, you fit a lot of great stuff into one 55!
Oh yes tempting- like that! and I know just what you mean!
thanks.
I honestly like this short piece of truth, never know what’s around a curve. Even if you’re on an oval race track.
I completely agree with that – there is so much more mystery in a curving road.
BTW, is that a little rabbit on your dash?
Can’t blame him for liking to follow those curves.
That’s our lucky jackalope. We got it at Wall Drug the summer before last.
Yeah, when it is straight and flat, it’s like you drive for hours and have barely moved.
“unexpected bakeries.” That’s what keeps me hanging on.
This is great. Very true that you keep looking around the curve for what might come next.
Truck on driver, truck on…
Wander
How true. If the straightway is too long you can end up going round the bend.
music, music, music!
And audio books.
