Reviews For Moving In
Seriously Reviewed said "You know? Every so often you read a story that starts a little slow on the first few pages and then.....BAM it just explodes! This was one of them for me."
Kaye's Book Review Page
on which she said The book is "short, sweet, light-hearted and just plain fun."
Vince at Philosophy of Romance said "Alice Audrey’s voice is fresh, feisty, full of surprises and always fun. The author also deals with real people having real problems and she does it in a very insightful way."
Nessa at Chrysalis Stage said "If you like sweet, fast-paced romance with a hot hero and all of the misunderstandings that two people can throw at each other, then you will love this story."
Night Owl Reviews didn't have anything nice to say about it. Hey, you can't win them all.
Brenda Talley of Romance Studio said " I recommend this book to anyone. It was a pleasure to read and I shall look for more of her work in the future. "
By Guta Bauer at Murphy's Library did it twice! Once in English and once in Portuguese. I'm assuming they both say, "Life goes on, choices need to be made and we can never let our past deny us of our future. That’s just some of the things we learn from this story. "

Chesapeake by James Michener p.514
To my old comrad in arms, Governor John Eager Howard
Rarely have I seen a document so shot through with fraud and force and forgery as this, but rarely have I heard supporting evidence from reliable witnesses as solid as that which bulwarks this claim. I pray you, lend good ear to the supplication of the Patriot, Teach Turlock, that his lands be restored.

Hm. So does old George believe in Turlock’s claim or does he just think it’s wise to approve it based on the clout of his supporters? People have based decisions on stranger things.
A bit of both, I suppose. The land was originally grabbed by the very kind of corrupt official that caused the revolution in the first place. The document in question was clearly squeezed out of the official at a moment when he was likely to be facing certain death if he did not comply. And everyone agreed it should never have been taken to begin with.
That first line could be applied to a great many bills and other political agenda these days. Good teaser!
I read this book years ago, but I think it’s time for a re-read. Thanks for a great teaser.
