I like the square one in the middle and the flower one. I can understand a button addiction. I can’t bear to throw them away and save them.
Buttons are cool and all but how do you find the one that matches the missing one…or is “close” simply good enough?

I’m partial to the cute little red one.
I’m with TWM, though. I love buttons, but what do you use them for? I can’t put just any button onto my husband’s work pants or a silk blouse I wear to the office. This limits what I can do with random buttons. Maybe I just don’t have a good enough imagination.
In my case it isn’t a question of trying to match missing ones. So far I’ve been able to salvage any that come off. It’s a matter of picking through for sets for new shirts/pants/skirts etc that I make or for individual ones to go on bags, pockets, etc. I’ve even strung some together to make necklaces and bracelets.
Fun! My mom had a huge collection of buttons, like hundreds! LOL!

It’s good to know someone who has more buttons than I do. Mine all tend to be round ones in various sizes, some of which I occasionally use on cards.
buttons are so cool…love all the different sizes, textures and shapes…used to play in my moms button jar all the time…
My Mom used to have huge jars filled with buttons. I wonder what happened to them? Happy T13!
yeah, way back in the ’60s I usta buy stuff by the once, too. Them was the days.
My mother had a big container of buttons, and like Adelle, I don’t know what happened to them. It is good that you sew – it’s becoming a lost art.
