When I moved from Wisconsin to Montana in 1999, I surprised myself by purchasing a Romance novel.  Boxes were scattered everywhere.  The TV was buried.  My computer was a snarled mess of cables, and I was supposed to be writing Science Fiction, but all I wanted was a Romance.  Historical, Romantic Suspense, Single Title, I didn't care as long as it was fun.

Gradually it occurred to me that I should be writing Romance novels, rather than simply devouring them.  Thanksgiving of 1999 I started Lord Dunraven's Kiss.  Since then I have written everything listed here, and here.

I'm a member of Romance Writer's of America (RWA) and the From The Heart Romance Writers, a chapter of RWA.  I have my Pro pin from RWA, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Montana.

What else do I do?

Now and then I actually do something besides write.  In my spare time I'm an accountant.  I have worked for everything from a small proprietorship to an international corporation.

I have what a friend of mine calls the Sears and Roebuck family.  Father, mother (that would be me), older son and younger daughter; if people could, they'd order it from a catalogue.  Until recently we had a small menagerie, but have been reduced to more gerbils than we counted on.  That's what happens when the pet store isn't sure if they are both female.

What else makes me tick?  Roll-playing video games, arts and crafts, and Gerbil TV.  Gerbil TV?  Don't ask.
