You’ve probably already seen this guy, but I like these pictures enough to share them anyway. The email this came in claimed he painted himself. Since then I’ve seen an interview with him which clearly showed someone else doing the painting. Either way, it’s in interesting concept well executed.
This one’s a couple years old. It was taken around Christmas in The Big Hole – which is a valley in Western Montana with an elevation around 7,000 feet.

I kind of missed last week’s PhotoHunt, when the theme was 12. I had it planned, but not photographed. Never did get it photographed. So This week I’m combining them. Previously in Jack and Jill, Jack made fun of Jill’s newly buff bod. She said he could lose some weight, and he chased her. Jack: *pant, pant, pant* I feel like we’ve been running forever. Jill: It’s only been 12 minutes. Jill: See. I was right about you being out […]

Stop. Tell me why you’re leaving. You owe me nothing, still I ask, I beg; Was it the wall too high? the rope? the ladder? Which act failed? Which should I cut? Which joke fell flat? Tell me, before you walk away, leaving me nary a dime Have I no talent as a mime? . . . . The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to write a story in exactly 55 words.

I will NOT drive The Boy more than 1,000 miles to visit friends. 4. I will hug The Girl every time she sticks her head out of her room and says “hi”. 5. I will actually listen to my kids, and not merely so I’ll […]
I’ve been in hibernation all week, so don’t have any history or research post ready for you this week, but Mr. Al has been busy. He’s already given me the first week’s post. It’s on Marie Antoinette’s mother. Until he pointed it out, I had no idea how interesting the woman could be.
