George IV celebrated the death of his wife, Queen Caroline. What kind of mischief could he get into? At least His Majesty could take some measure of solace in the arms of a new girlfriend. He still had his old girlfriend, Lady Hurtford, but that was getting a bit stale. What with his detested wife dead and all, time for something new. Lady Conyngham was the something new. She was “a fat, kindly, religious, rich and rapacious woman of fifty-two.” […]
The Girl isn’t a Girl Scout this year. She doesn’t miss it a bit. But I do.
Vicki over at Beach Bum gave me this award. Yeah, I’ve received it before, but I like it and am glad to receive it again. I’m passing along to: Debbie Davis Mozi Esme’s Mom Adelle TWM Jr. John kaye OK, OK, I’ll quit here. I know I’m repeating myself.
Back to the other side of La Playa Grande, there were little nooks and crannies everywhere. This planter is built into a gap over a four story drop.
This is a long one, so I’m splitting it in two. Come back Monday for the other half. Architect and engineers compete to see whose team can build the most spectacular structure using little more than cans of food at ‘Canstruction,’ the 13th annual NYC Design and Build competition in New York . All these cans will go to the food bank afterwards.

A few days ago he was ready to crawl through a window to beat up his father because of what he said. Today the social worker was all set to do it for him, and he wouldn’t let her. “What do you mean it’s for you?”
La Playa Grande is a huge place. This arch is down, through the foyer, and out a side door from the hall.
Remember the cactus from yesterday? It’s in this breeze way, which is suspended about four stories up. I’d love to show you a picture, but I never got around to taking one of it.the outside.
Last week Heather featured 13 songs about the moon. It got me to wondering how many and what kind of moon songs are out there. So I did a search on YouTube. These are some of the ones I liked.
