1. Even if not for the butterflies, the gardens in the Nanimo area were lovely.
2. Fish in the pond.
3. Flying! Blurry but flying. Do you know how hard it is to get a picture of a butterfly in flight?
4. But once they land, who can see them?
5. Fake. I actually had to check it.
6. Flying! Yeah, still not good.
7. They had several tortoise to go along with some lizards and such. No idea why.
8. One of the employees passed me as I was going from the inside gardens to the outside gardens. He commented that the inside was Costa Rica muggy – just the way butterflies like it.

12. Instead of studying the signs, I took quick pictures with the intention of figuring it all out later. Yeah… if only I could read them.
13. Looking up is worth while.
