Vince at Philosophy of Romance said "Alice Audrey’s voice is fresh, feisty, full of surprises and always fun. The author also deals with real people having real problems and she does it in a very insightful way."
Nessa at Chrysalis Stage said "If you like sweet, fast-paced romance with a hot hero and all of the misunderstandings that two people can throw at each other, then you will love this story."

By Guta Bauer at Murphy's Library did it twice! Once in English and once in Portuguese. I'm assuming they both say, "Life goes on, choices need to be made and we can never let our past deny us of our future. That’s just some of the things we learn from this story. "

What up, homie! That is one I hear a lot in my area. I think it means “what is up, homeboy.” I also hear them say “po-po” for police, as in, “there go the po-po to give my homie a fast driving award.”
Definitely a different way of speaking. Enjoyed this a lot!
ermagerd…hahaha….they do have a language of their own…and it gets a little crazy trying to decipher it in school somedays…
Cool, lol
I think I’ve brought up too many teenagers.
Javy? I hadn’t heard that one. Totes irritates me. LOL!
But the one that drives me crazy is “Sick”. “OMG that track is so sick!”
And then I have to ask “Good sick or bad sick?”
My kids roll their eyes.
I hate rolling eyes. LOL!
I’m frightened by how many of these I was familiar with. I blame Tumblr. LOL!
“Javy” is one I’ve not heard before.
OMG! That picture is killing me! ROFL! I’ve heard my kids say all of these words except for Javy and totes. Yep, never a dull moment with teenagers.
I knew most of these, probably because I work at a university. Never heard javy, though. Guess I need to go to RenFest next year.
These are fun to read. Thanks for visiting my Fridays Fences post! Have a great weekend!
More often than not I have any number of teenagers in my house. Yes, I’ve heard most of these over and over and over …. lol Happy T13!
Only javy is one I’ve not heard. Many are ones I use myself! And freaking is just another form of the word that is more publicly acceptable.
Heh. Well, some of those I use myself, and I don’t even have kids. I don’t know what that says about me. There are others that make me go… huh? But that’s to be expected at my advanced age and lack of cool.
wow…BRO is really famous here in my country too!
I am have been using freaking for ages as in freaking awesome….I just don’t think f@cking awesome is a nice word
Nice to know these words, I have been absorbing too much British words lately and few American slangs would be good for my vocabs
