Ok, enough with the goats. Time to show you what else I saw in Mongolia.

1.The “Reindeer Family” brought a family of reindeer for us to see. Well, a female and her offspring and a male, anyway. They didn’t bring more than that because reindeer don’t do well in such warm weather. It was up into the 70s.

2. There were a lot of pigeons at Gandan Monastery because they are considered symbols of peace there and are fed regularly. Yeah, pigeons, not doves.

3. Yacks in Kapaoke Park.

4. Yow (cross between a yack and cow) in front of Khovsgol Lake

5. Eagle belonging to Kazakh family

6. Cows. They actually had them, though I have very, very few pictures.

7. Horses. I actually have quite a few pictures of horses.

8. Pika in the Gobi Desert. I spent waaaay too much time trying to get a good picture.

9. Chickens. Yeah, awful picture. It was the only one of chickens that I took. Just didn’t see them around much even though we ate a lot of eggs.

10. Lizard on one of the rare sand dunes of the Gobi Desert.

11. Sheep. Yeah, not the goats, the sheep.

12. The camels we rode in the Gobi Desert

13. Camels in Kapaoke Park.
