The (hot chocolate) set up looked like a commercial for Nestle’, the kind of thing where Suburban Mom was holding down the fort while the kids played in the snow until they got red noses and cold hands. He could just picture it: the chilly crew would come screaming in just as the self-satisfied mominator put out the kind of warm-up spread capable of cranking Norman Rockwell into a saccharine submission hold.

I should be reading Lover Revealed right now. I’ve totally messed myself up by reading them out of order, but I’d already started on this one before I bought Lover Revealed, and just kind of kept going. So I’m reading both at the same time and trying very hard to keep the stories straight in my head. Not usually a problem for me, but with the two books overlapping so much, it’s been a challenge. And talk about spoilers! Sheesh.
