Change is Coming

It’s been quite a while since I’ve used my Monday post to just talk about what’s going on in my life. Somehow Mongolia completely consumed my blog. I’ve given over to vacations before. Galapagos got a fair amount of airtime as did Belize, but Mongolia took the cake.

Took is the operative word. I still have a bit to say about the place. Maybe three weeks worth? The last week might only be a post or two. We will see.

So what’s going on now? Tax season! Yep. Already. Have you noticed that the internet can speed up the process? I no longer have to wait for some things to be delivered. I can go in and wrest a 1099 from the lap of the big financial companies on a much more timely basis. No more languishing by the mail box.

Good thing, too, because my mailbox is quickly filling with snow. It’s been a bitter cold winter here in Montana. No where near as bad as some of you have suffered, but cold enough that we aren’t getting enough snow. The means drought next summer when the snow melt is supposed to be doing lovely things to our water tables. So when we finally got enough to make it hard to get around town, all I want to do is celebrate. That and enjoy the fact it warmed up a bit.

I can see why Mongolia took over my blog. It was so much more interesting than my daily life.
